Free Money for Ottawa County Residents

A great resource that we on the Northern Shore of Lake Erie have is Stone Laboratory. This is one of the oldest aquatic research laboratories in the United States. I was lucky enough to take a field ecology course there a few years ago and it changed my like into a love for Lake Erie.

So, when I was told that there was free money to take courses there for Ottawa County, OH residents, I just had to let people know. $10,000 and then some for residents of Ottawa County to take a class at Stone Lab. Really. If I didn't have a graduate program that I was knee deep in (yea Miami!) I would most definitely be taking a class!
